Kansas City, Mo. — Greater Kansas City Fire Fighters, IAFF Local No. 42 today announced their endorsement of Nicole Galloway for Missouri Governor.  Fire fighters from throughout the Kansas City area joined Local 42 leadership for an endorsement press conference in Kansas City on Monday.

“Nicole Galloway’s strong record as Auditor of protecting Missourians’ hard earned tax dollars and her commitment to hold both politicians and political subdivisions accountable for their actions has earned our trust,” said Tim Dupin, President of the Local 42 chapter of the IAFF. “Her vision for where she wants to take Missouri has convinced us that Nicole Galloway is the Governor Missouri needs at this critical crossroads for our state. We are committed to getting out the vote to ensure her election in November.”

“I’m proud to have the Greater Kansas City Fire Fighters on my side in this campaign. When they say they have your back, they mean it, and they know what it takes to win, ” said Nicole Galloway. “I’m running for Governor to put Jefferson City back on the side of working families. That means ensuring our first responders have the equipment and support they need in order to protect the public and to go home safe at the end of their shift.”

The Greater Kansas City chapter of the Missouri State Council of Fire Fighters represents firefighters, paramedics, emergency medical technicians (EMT’s), assistant prosecuting attorneys, other first responders and their families throughout the Kansas City-area, covering departments in Jackson, Clay, Platte, Ray and Cass counties.
